About

Chiara Lucchetta, or Chi (pronounced key) as most people call her, is a multifaceted mover and creator. Chiara works as a freelance dancer, writer, arts facilitator, and movement instructor, with certifications in barre, contemporary pilates, yoga, and mental health crisis response. Her movement classes emphasize mindful, embodied movement and aim to help people celebrate and honour the body while connecting mind, body, and soul.

Chiara’s dance training began at a very young age in Toronto where she danced competitively, attended arts schools, and trained at various institutions, including Canada’s National Ballet School. Chiara has since gone on to work professionally in the arts, performing as a cheerleader for the Toronto Argonauts, curating her own shows, and currently serving as the Creative Producer for F-O-R-M, a Vancouver-based movement-on-screen film festival. Passionate about fostering connection and access in the arts, Chiara is also the founder of Purple Glow Collective, a platform dedicated to facilitating community art events, spaces, and opportunities.

Committed to always traveling further, loving harder, and living life on no one else’s terms but her own (which often means a little unconventionally), Chiara hopes to help others get curious and embrace creativity and play with her movement offerings, classes, workshops, and writing.
